Magnetic contact switch is used to trigger an IDAS® alarm or reset the alarm. Switch is normally open (N.O.).

Switch and magnet are furnished with 3M adhesive tape for proper mounting on steel, aluminum, wood or vinyl. The space between the switch and magnet should not be greater than the rated gap. This rating applies to wood or aluminum only. When applied to steel, the rated gap is reduced to one half of the original gap.
