The IIDAS® Variable Shock Sensor (VSS) may be used in conjunction with IIDAS® controllers and security systems (or other N/O security monitoring systems) to add additional impact/abuse protection to vulnerable areas of point-of-sale (POS) equipment. Possible uses include vending machines with glass or plexiglass front panels, bill and coin acceptors, and publicly accessible point-of-sale equipment with multiple access doors. The dimensions of VSS modules are 1.75" x 0.9" x 0.9"; 4.6cm x 2.4cm x 2.4cm.
